Adult Dance Classes
At The Pointe Dance Centre we believe there’s no expiry date on your dreams.
Our adult Ballet and Tap classes are welcoming and beginner friendly. Whether you’re returning to dance after a break or just starting out, our experienced instructors will challenge and inspire you to your level of ability. There is no uniform for adult classes and performing in the year end recital is optional for adult students.

Ballet
Class length: 1 hour
Format: Students learn barre exercises, centre work, travelling steps and choreography.
Level: This is an “All Levels” class. Beginners are given simpler instructions and experienced dancers are given more challenging variations.
Performance: Students learn a set piece of performance choreography but participation in the June recital is optional. (Costumes and recital tickets are additional expenses.)
Tap
Class length: 1 hour
Format: Students warm up and learn centre work, travelling steps and choreography.
Level: This is an “All Levels” class. Beginners are given simpler instructions and experienced dancers are given more challenging variations.
Performance: Students learn a set piece of performance choreography but participation in the June recital is optional. (Costumes and recital tickets are additional expenses.)

My daughter really enjoyed Princess Camp over March break and during the summer. The little performances at the end of the week are beyond cute and the children really love having parents and caregivers see them perform!

They run very well organized and fun camps and PA day activities. The new Dance Club is perfect. They’ve hit the mark with this one. School pick up and dance class all in one.
