At The Pointe Dance Centre the early years are our specialty. (Click here to read our story.) From day one, Miss Helen and Miss Kate have been super passionate about making every child’s first experience of dance magical and memorable!
From our uniform choices (as comfortable and adorable as possible!) to hiring only the best instructors (they gotta have that sparkle) to providing the highest quality programming (Discover Dance, Acrobatic Arts, Royal Academy of Dance) to separate early years recitals (because anything longer than 20 minutes is not okay) — we’re just as excited as you are about your child’s dance journey.

Ballet Babies
1 + years (with caregiver)
At The Pointe we are passionate about helping you to make the most out of the early years. In this wonderful introductory class you participate fully with your child — dancing, singing and learning right along with them, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Registration:
- Continuous registration so you can join at any time.
- New themes every 3 weeks to keep you motivated and entertained.
- Discover Dance Level 1
- Class length: 40 minutes
Tiny Dancers
2 + years (with caregiver)
At The Pointe we are passionate about helping you to make the most out of the early years. In this wonderful introductory class you participate fully with your child — dancing, singing and learning right along with them, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

- Discover Dance: Level 2
- Class length: 40 minutes
First Steps
3 + years (without caregiver)
Our warm and patient instructors ensure that each lesson includes creative play, songs, dances, poems and imaginative exercises to inspire a love of learning that will last a lifetime. In Level 3, basic ballet concepts are introduced and explored.

- New themes every 3 weeks to keep your toddler motivated and entertained.
- Class length: 40 minutes
- Discover Dance Ballet Level 3
Future Stars
4 + years (recommended for JK)
Our nurturing and creative instructors keep your child captivated and entertained as they begin to learn ballet terminology and choreography and explore dance concepts in greater depth. Social and emotional learning goals also become more complex as your child learns to cooperate, share and develop friendships.
Students may choose one style of dance or take multiple classes per week to learn different styles. Our Future Stars level classes are fantastic on their own or in combination with each other.

When my daughter started dance lessons at The Pointe she was 3, incredibly shy and apprehensive about leaving me for dance. Miss Kate and Miss Helen are so patient and warm, within months my daughter had found her tribe and come completely out of her shell.
My daughter really enjoyed Princess Camp over March break and during the summer. The little performances at the end of the week are beyond cute and the children really love having parents and caregivers see them perform!

A wonderful neighbourhood dance studio. The teachers are fantastic and my daughter loves to come every week. Her confidence, passion for dance and friendships have flourished over her years at the Pointe.
We LOVE The Pointe Dance Center. Miss Helen and Miss Kate are amazing. Their calm, patient and supportive nature is the reason our daughter loves going there so much.
They run very well organized and fun camps and PA day activities. The new Dance Club is perfect. They’ve hit the mark with this one. School pick up and dance class all in one.
The performances the kids put on are incredible. I’m amazed at how much they can teach in just a week (for the camps). Our daughter had become quite the performer since starting their programs.
